It was hard letting you go but at this moment its the best option we have and the best to thing to do. Letting you go does not mean I have given up nor the love does not exist, it actually means the opposite. Four years we have been together.
We had our up's and down's but we managed to keep things okay. Four years we've known each other and within that four years, immeasurable memories were created that letting go was never an option. Four years, our status remains the same; boyfriend/girlfriend. We have been used to it that the next level of commitment were never talked about nor thought of getting more to it. And I guess, this is the time to test ourselves if we can go on without each other or not. If we can't, then this love is for us. If eventually, we realize it was not for us, at least we have given each other time to let go, let free and move on with ourselves. Many of our friends raise brows of this crazy things we are doing with our relationship but its us who can only understand and just smile over their talks.

Space is what we need. A space to grow. A space to mature. A space intended for just ourselves. So that when we are ready and the love is still there, commitment will just be an easy part.
Enjoy being single which we had not experience for more than four years that I guess it is yearning to be experienced once more.
I'd rather lose you completely as my boyfriend rather than lose you for eternity as my friend.
